Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role located in Fort Worth, TX. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support recovery from complex medical and rehabilitative conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, delivering evidence-based physical therapy treatments, documenting clinical progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that may include physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case managers. The role involves educating patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to optimize independence and prevent complications. The Physical Therapist will support discharge planning, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and uphold regulatory and professional standards while promoting a safe, inclusive, and patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess functional status and deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Strong skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to inpatient rehabilitation, including common diagnoses, precautions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas, and graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
• Experience in inpatient or acute rehabilitation settings preferred; familiarity with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic, and neurological conditions is beneficial.
• Effective communication, documentation, and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, team-based environment.
