Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Forked River, NJ is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedics setting. You will create individualized plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the rehab team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited PT program.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level acceptable.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops progressions for treatment plans.
• Provides patient and caregiver education to support discharge planning when appropriate.
• Engages with rehab team to support departmental initiatives and growth.
• Supports ongoing department performance and program delivery improvements.

Position: Physical Therapist-

Location: Forked River, NJ

Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours weekly

Compensation: $86k-$110k+ annually depending on years of experience

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT) :

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.

• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.

• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.

• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.

• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.

• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
