Average Compensation Range: $40.32 - $45.26/hr (may vary based on experience)

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist

Summary:Provide physical therapy services to patients, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, developing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervising assistants and Rehab Techs, and case management. Maintain professional conduct aligned with Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards and adhere to all relevant regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enhance patient functionality through direct or supervised physical therapy
• Provide consultation and supervision to PTAs
• Supervise PTA and Rehab Tech during treatments, promoting resource efficiency and skill development, in accordance with state laws and policies
• Develop and build a strong physical therapy program
• Improve clinical, professional, and management skills through collaboration and continuing education
• Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on industry issues
• Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery methods to ensure quality and compliance
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for communication and documentation

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet use

Certificates and Licenses:

• Valid physical therapist license in the state of practice
