ACCESS SPORTS MEDICINE & ORTHOPAEDICS PLLC in Exeter, NH is seeking a Physical Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team, conducting patient assessments, delivering direct care and developing individualized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will be NH-licensed, hold a PT degree (BS/MS/ DPT) and BCLS, maintain thorough documentation, supervise licensed PTAs, and ensure compliance with CMS and insurance rules.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the NH Board of Medicine as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy as required by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment/re-assessment and direct patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Supervise licensed PTAs per NH practice act and collaborate in care.
• Document using electronic charting and CMS compliant practices.
• Ensure compliance with insurance and CMS regulations.
• Attend scheduled shifts and adhere to Attendance policy.

Job DetailsJob Location: Exeter - Exeter, NH 03833Salary Range: $83,000.00 Salary/yearPosition Summary: The Physical Therapist functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care and individualized care planning/implementation.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

• Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, techniques, equipment and procedures used in physical therapy
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology sufficient to evaluate and treat patients
• Knowledge of equipment and the ability to adjust equipment to suite patient needs
• Collects and integrates data from multiple sources
• Applies critical thinking skills and considers alternatives
• Organizes and prioritizes multi-task workload
• Assesses health literacy and incorporates teaching with a focus on health promotion
• Plans, evaluates and administers physical therapy programs to out-patient populations
• Completes accurate, timely documentation, appropriately using computer charting/ordering
• Demonstrates department specific skills and competencies
• Provides supervision to licensed PTA’s according to the state of NH practice act, reviewing notes and collaborating in care
• Complies with insurance and CMS regulations
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy
