Job summary

Select Medical in Duluth, GA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm.

Compensation starts at $78,000 annually with up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and debt benefit options, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include evaluating and directing PT treatment, adhering to state regulations, and collaborating with the care team to restore function and return patients to work and sport.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand state practice acts and supervise appropriately.
• Complete required trainings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and document patient needs for physical therapy.
• Maintain open communication with coworkers, physicians, patients, families, and payors.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
