Job summary

Select Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist for a per diem role in Denton, TX. You will assess patients, plan and implement treatments, supervise PTAs and students, and contribute to discharge planning and ongoing care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas PT license, current BLS, and a commitment to high-quality patient care and ongoing quality improvement. Orientation helps you integrate smoothly and there are opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS required or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning including education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise PT Assistants and PT/PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatments.
• Complete documentation per department policies.
• Participate in continuing education seminars.

• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
