Job summary

The Villages of Dallas in Dallas, TX is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. The role offers growth opportunities to support outpatient or SNF/ALF/OP/ILF patients based on area of interest and program needs.

We seek a licensed Physical Therapist, open to all experience levels including new grads, to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation plans and help patients progress toward recovery in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wounds.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plan (manual therapy, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME

The Villages of Dallas in Dallas, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program! Growth opportunity to work either directly supporting the outpatient department or in a multi-level role supporting patients in the SNF/ALF/OP/ILF, depending on your area of interest!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist license is required.
