Job summary

The Encompass Group, in partnership with a leading orthopedic healthcare organization, seeks a Physical Therapist to join an outpatient orthopedic team in Crown Point, IN. You will evaluate patients, design individualized plans, and help them regain mobility and daily function.

Applicants should hold a current PT license in Indiana, with a DPT preferred, and a current BLS certification. Outpatient experience is preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential for

Qualifications

• Current, valid state Physical Therapist license required.
• DPT degree preferred for this orthopedic outpatient role.
• BLS certification is required at enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on home exercises and prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation aides as needed.

The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading orthopedic healthcare organization to hire a Physical Therapist to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a PT who enjoys working in an outpatient orthopedic setting and is passionate about helping patients improve mobility, recover from injuries, and return to their daily activities.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatment modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on home exercises, injury prevention, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation aides as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Current, valid state Physical Therapist license.
• DPT preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of outpatient orthopedic PT experience preferred.
• Strong new graduates will also be considered.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and EMR documentation.
