Springs Village Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our in-house team. You will assess and treat patients with physical functioning disorders or wounds, developing and implementing individualized care plans while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with regular standing and walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME

SPRINGS VILLAGE CARE CENTER - COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

We are excited to announce our growth in Colorado and are currently seeking passionate therapists to join our in-house crew at Springs Village Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO. As a therapy professional on our team, you will have the freedom to create and implement programs to best meet the needs of your patients. Our therapy team expansion will be a sharp focus and you will receive strong orientation, training and on-going support as we grow!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
