The Boston Celtics are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to enhance their injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation efforts for NBA players. This role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal performance and injury prevention strategies, alongside the commitment to travel and work flexible hours.
Summary:
Throughout the Boston Celtics’ storied history, they have long stood for equality and respect, including drafting the first African American player, hiring the first African American coach, and playing the first all-black starting five. The Celtics have won a record 18 NBA Championships spanning five (5) decades, including eight (8) in a row from 1959-1966, and winning their most recent in 2024. In addition, forty-one (41) former Celtics players, management, coaches, or staff have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In December 2002 the team returned to local ownership for the first time since 1963.
Are you driven to support elite athletes at the highest level of the game? We're looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for delivering top-tier injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for NBA players, as well as playing a key role in advancing our performance and injury prevention programs. The role will be based in Boston, will require traveling with the team, and will work within the integrated Performance Department of the Boston Celtics.
