• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

Shift: PRN - Weekend Shift

Pay Rate: $57 per hour

About The Role

Boca Circle Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The Physical Therapist will provide individualized care focused on improving residents' mobility, strength, coordination, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic techniques to improve gait, muscle strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.
• Design, recommend, and fit adaptive devices while providing residents with appropriate training for their use.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive, individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Participate in care conferences and contribute to a comprehensive approach to resident care.
• Provide guidance and oversight to support personnel while maintaining professional standards of care.
• Educate and train nursing and medical staff on therapy-related techniques and resident needs.
• Ensure therapy equipment is properly maintained and promote a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
