Ortho Montana is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide services to clients, performing evaluations and establishing treatment plans. The role involves supervising PT aides and ensuring patient care is centered on quality and independence.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a current license in Montana. Responsibilities extend to working in an outpatient setting, where teamwork and communication with physicians are crucial for continuity of care.
General Summary of Duties: Provide physical therapy services to clients
Supervision Received: Reports to Therapy Supervisor
Supervision Exercised: Supervises PT aides
Minimum Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
Minimum Experience Requirement: Previous experience preferred, but not required
Minimum Requirements: Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Montana.
Physical therapy clinic and public exercise facility if applicable. Exposure to open wounds, communicable diseases, and chemical substances common to physical therapy.
Standing/sitting 6-8 hours a day, walking, crouching, and bending. Requires manual dexterity and strength. Ability to lift loads of 5-25 lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead. Ability to carry loads of 5-50 lbs 40-50 feet. Ability to sustain a grip of 40-50 lbs for short duration. Requires ability to assist in patient transfer. Occasional stress in working with tense patients.
