Avir Health Group in Beaumont, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in the Houston area. You will evaluate, plan and deliver direct patient care using standard PT practices and document progress for ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state license/registration as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine condition and needs.
• Assess evaluations and test results to guide treatment.
• Develop treatment plans using diverse PT techniques.
• Create personalized fitness-oriented programs for patients.
• Provide medically prescribed PT treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques and home treatment options.
• Advise patients and families on home-based care options.
• Share information on injury prevention and ergonomics.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care history and condition changes.
• Adhere to clinical rules, regulations and procedures.

FT hourly rates start at $48 and may go higher based on years of experience.

PRN hourly rates start at $55 and may go higher based on years of experience.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist (PT) will evaluate, plan, treat, and provide direct patient care services using standard physical therapy practices and procedures. The Physical Therapist will also be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.

• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.

• Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.

• Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.

• Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.

• Advising patients on exercise techniques.

• Advising patients and their families about in-home treatment options.

• Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.

• Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

• Documenting patient care history.

• Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current license/registration by state of hire as a Physical Therapist.
