Avir Health Group in the Houston area is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, plan, treat, and provide direct patient care using standard PT practices, while documenting treatments and changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Current state license/registration required as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.
• Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Advising patients on exercise techniques.
• Advising patients and their families about in-home treatment options.
• Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.

FT hourly rates start at $48 and may go higher based on years of experience.

PRN hourly rates start at $55 and may go higher based on years of experience.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist (PT) will evaluate, plan, treat, and provide direct patient care services using standard physical therapy practices and procedures.
