Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation in Austin, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program serving geriatric patients across post-acute care.

You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, deliver rehabilitative treatment, and contribute to discharge summaries while adhering to clinical standards. Licensed PT required; new grads welcome. We value CAPLICO principles in daily care.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
• Develop care plans and deliver rehabilitative, skilled treatment interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of the plan, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and wound care.

• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation in Austin, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist license is required.
