Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) for an onsite, 13-week contract at Heart Hospital in Austin. Schedule is day shift 7:30am–4pm with weekends rotated every 3–4 weekends; building Heart Hospital, unit 1–3, patient load typical for 72 beds and 2 PTs on staff.

Candidate must have acute care experience (ICU/CCU) and may be the sole PT on weekends; wound care experience is a plus. Attractive location and supportive team culture. Dress code and unit policies apply.

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Acute care experience including ICU/CCU as may be the only PT on weekends

Preferred or nice to have

candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Wound care—preferred but not necessary

• Respectful of manager, patients, staff; attention to safety, friendly/caring; manages time/attendance independently
• Able to participate in high level of coordination and communication throughout day

Being a small hospital, communication is very good between providers and therapy and it is easy to get assistance with patient or staff needs; it is a very supportive environment. We use imobile to communicate with each other and with the hospitalists, case managers, RN's. The 2 staff PT's have 15 and 30+ years of experience and one is a certified wound care therapist. They are very supportive.
