Job Summary: The Physical Therapist II serves as a primary clinician, providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and education to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, setting measurable patient goals, ensuring high-quality care in alignment with established standards and serving as a Clinical Instructor for short term and long-term students, and may assist with Residents.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education: Graduation from a Physical Therapy Program accredited by CAPTE.
Experience: At least one year of clinical experience as a physical therapist.
Licensure: A valid, unencumbered Physical Therapist License approved by Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
up to 25 lbs., 0-33% of the workday (infrequently) Lifting 25 lbs. max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
