Job summary

The Physical Therapist at vTech Solution provides rehabilitation programs to improve mobility and function in an outpatient clinic in California. You will evaluate patients, treat, document, and collaborate with physicians to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include supervising PT Assistants, utilizing EMR, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and coordinating with front desk for scheduling. Must be licensed in state and capable of performing required physical tasks. No travel.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of intended work.

• Ensure accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
• Assist patients by answering questions and ensuring comfort during treatment.
• Coordinate with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow-up.
• Make independent decisions related to patient care.
• Participate in business marketing and referral processes when necessary.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures to protect patient privacy.
• Follow PT billing policies and procedures, including Medicare, workers' compensation, private insurance, and cash pay.
• Be proficient in diagnosis and ICD-10 coding for billing services.
• Perform physical activities including stool sitting, walking, prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting patients with mobility and transfers.

Scheduling
