Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to deliver real-world, functional rehab in home and community settings. You’ll work independently while supported by a collaborative team, designing a schedule around your life and helping patients apply skills in everyday activities.

The role offers a competitive salary, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, paid driving time, travel and mileage reimbursement, and access to educational programs.

Qualifications

• PT degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• BLS or CPR certification as required by state.
• At least one year of physical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with neurological rehab techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment plan effectiveness and attend staffing meetings.
• Conduct discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety modifications, and provide referrals and educational resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the interdisciplinary team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.

• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; safely move/transfer patients up to 100 pounds.
• Physical stamina: fine motor skills, visual acuity, extended standing/walking, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning.
• Health screenings or exams may be required per location or state policies.
