Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Allendale, NJ is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, progress plans, and educate patients for discharge readiness.

Requires graduation from an APTA-accredited program and NJ PT license; outpatient orthopedics experience preferred, entry level welcome. Sign-on up to $20,000, with debt relief and annual bonus plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides patient and caregiver education and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates with rehab team members.
• Supports professional growth and overall improvement of department performance.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and therapy services.

Schedule: Monday-Friday full-time 40 hours weekly

Compensation: $86,000-$110,000 annually depending on years of experience

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT) :

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
