Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security programs across stores, distribution centers and offices.

You will coordinate with vendors and internal partners to ensure standards and requirements are applied company-wide. This role focuses on monitoring and improving CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems, while supporting project execution and issue resolution within the Loss Prevention

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in physical security, loss prevention or Retail.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion systems and integrated security platforms preferred.
• Experience leveraging vendors, integrators and participating in large scale projects.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Confirms site readiness, equipment availability, vendor assignments and schedules before work begins.
• Tracks milestones, open items and vendor deliverables and escalates issues.
• Validates completed work against requirements and coordinates corrective actions.
• Monitors CCTV, intrusion, access control and EAS systems performance.
• Coordinates service for repair and warranty activities with vendors and internal teams.
• Supports evaluations and pilots by testing and documenting results.
• Acts as the operational point-of-contact for installation concerns and routine issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
