Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in New York area seeks an entry-level Loss Prevention associate responsible for everyday safety and shrink prevention across our stores. You will support store management, detain or report incidents, and help implement policies to protect assets and customers.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years retail or security experience, strong communication, basic computer and time-management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing instructions with a team-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established loss prevention and safety programs.
• Maintains positive relationships with Store Management and Associates.
• Communicates with store staff on shrink initiatives and incidents.
• Identifies and resolves theft-related situations per policy.
• Completes and documents paperwork accurately and timely.
• Supports shrink reduction goals in partnership with Store Management.
