Summary

About the Position: Fort Myer is a 15 minute commute to/from the Arlington National Cemetery Metro Station, a 10-15 minute commute to/ from the Rosslyn, Virginia Metro Station, and is accessible by bus transportation. The installation is approximately 7 miles from Washington D.C.

Major Duties

Conduct physical security surveys and inspections to assess facility safeguards, security systems, and compliance with security and anti terrorism requirements.Review construction and renovation plans to ensure required physical security measures are properly integrated and recommend adjustments as needed.Prepare reports and brief leadership on inspection findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions to protect facilities and sensitive assets.Assess intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and other security systems to verify proper installation, functionality, and alignment with mission needs.Provide guidance on physical security policies, standards, and improvements to strengthen overall security posture across assigned facilities.
