Job summary

MGT is seeking a Physical Security Solutions Architect I to deliver secure security designs for clients in a primarily on-site role in Livermore and Anaheim, CA. You will translate requirements into practical solutions, develop BOMs and diagrams, and present technical content to stakeholders.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Account Managers, engineers, and services teams, with ongoing manufacturer training and knowledge development to stay current in the field.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers in physical security solutions.
• Assess customer business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations.
• Design solutions across video surveillance, access control, physical security platforms, security integration, and deployment planning.
• Develop accurate bills of materials, statements of work, solution diagrams, assumptions, and technical proposal content.
• Present technical recommendations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, specialized architects, manufacturers, distributors, Engineering, and Services teams.
• Validate compatibility, scope, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations before customer commitment.
• Maintain current manufacturer training, certifications, product knowledge, and awareness of technology trends.
• Support opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and technical responses to RFPs and RFQs.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) or more years of Physical Security Solution experience.
• Manufacturer certifications required, with a commitment to ongoing manufacturer training and product knowledge development.
