MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to establish, implement, and maintain the physical security program across systems and facilities in Washington, DC.

The role requires coordinating with specialists to determine appropriate protection measures and overseeing installation and testing. The candidate should have an Associate degree, expert knowledge of security concepts, and an active TS or Q clearance, with preference for a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Expert knowledge in security principles, concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to perform independent work in Physical Security domains (IDS, access control, CCTV, SCIF).
• Active TS or Q security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Establish, implement, and maintain the physical security program for personnel, equipment, and documents.
• Coordinate with design and operations teams to determine protection systems and oversee installation and testing.
• Represent security in meetings and interagency committees; provide training and awareness.
• Develop reports on threat, risk, and corrective actions across security activities.
• Review plans for compliance with directives and ensure maximum security with minimal impact on mission.
• Conduct security surveys, audits, tests, and SCIF certification activities.
