Job summary

The State of North Carolina’s Department of Transportation seeks a Business Systems Analyst II (NS) in the Human Resources division to lead IT security risk assessments and vulnerability management across multiple state environments. You will analyze weaknesses, coordinate mitigations with cybersecurity teams, and document findings for audits.

You will also design secure integration of physical security systems, review vendor proposals, and contribute to governance by developing security

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarm systems) and their IT integration.
• Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with IT security policies, standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating technical projects with cross-functional stakeholders and documenting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments across highways and DMV environments, identifying vulnerabilities and coordinating mitigations.
• Support secure design and integration of physical security systems within enterprise IT architecture and vendor reviews.
• Develop and maintain IT security policies, standards, and procedures to support integrated security environments.
