Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a security guard to safeguard a corporate lobby and parking areas in Anchorage, AK. You will issue access cards, monitor security systems, and guide visitors and vendors through proper procedures.

The position requires clear communication, calmness in emergencies, and validation of qualifications to be on duty in armed or unarmed capacity. A valid license and driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills essential for interacting with staff, vendors, and visitors.
• Ability to remain calm and act appropriately during emergencies or high-stress situations.
• Must have no history of fraud or other criminal activity.
• Must be qualified to be on duty in both unarmed and armed capacities if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide branch/building security for corporate lobby post and parking areas.
• Issue Employee, Vendor, and Visitor Temporary Access Cards and Keys.
• Direct members, employees, vendors, and visitors for proper procedures for the delivery of packages.
• Monitor and enforce lobby and parking lot procedures.
• Monitor and review security surveillance cameras to ensure safety.
• Provide visitor information and coordinate visitor and vendor movement; issue visitor passes.
• Respond to and report lobby and parking lot incidents to Security Central Station or 911 in emergencies.
• Monitor and assist during emergency evacuations and drills.
• Report branch/building maintenance issues to Facilities and Security Central Station.
• Retain and hold a Security Guard License and eligibility to be armed if required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
