Job summary

Goldbelt Security’s Alaska Operations seeks a Security Guard (Intermittent) to perform routine security duties and support site safety across Alaska. You will conduct patrols, enforce rules, respond to incidents, and assist staff during absences or events.

Ideal candidates are dependable, professional, and flexible to varying schedules. State licensure eligibility and background checks are required.CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of security and safety practices.
• Ability to analyze and respond to incidents.
• Ability to observe and record events accurately.
• Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to use sound judgment within established procedures.
• Proficient in report writing and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to ensure the safety and security of facilities, assets, and personnel.
• Monitor access control points and enforce established procedures.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies as assigned.
• Document and report security activities, incidents, and observations accurately and timely.
• Provide customer service and assist visitors or employees per site protocols.
• Communicate with site supervisors and team members regarding safety or security concerns.
• Support enforcement of environmental, safety, and facility rules.
• May be required to work on-call or call-back hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
