Job summary

Ambry Genetics seeks a Security/Facilities Manager to oversee personnel clearances, access control, CCTV, and security policies at client facilities. You will manage badges, conduct audits, and coordinate building training and safety drills.

You will work with IT and Compliance to implement risk management, monitor facilities systems, and ensure smooth office operations with strong customer service to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in military, law enforcement or physical security.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with CCTV and security access systems.
• Ability to develop security strategies and provide training.
• Flexible hours and willingness to take on multiple roles.
• Experience in office administration.
• Proficient with Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the personnel clearance and physical security programs at client facilities.
• Create/maintain cardholder profiles, badges, and access levels.
• Oversee camera systems and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure security policies comply with company regulations and policies.
• Oversee building training and safety drills (fire drills, shelter in place, active shooter, CPR).
• Quarterly audits of safety equipment and badge access for building and space.
• Coordinate day-to-day office operations, supervision, and inventory.
• Collaborate with IT on security-related amenities and protocols.
• Work with Compliance to build and oversee risk management and life safety programs.
• Monitor facilities management platforms and drive efficiencies within scope.
• Willing to take on different roles as requested by the Manager.
