Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell is seeking a Facilities Technician to support general, routine, and preventative maintenance, ensuring safe and compliant operations campus-wide. The role includes hands-on service, logistics support, and basic landscaping tasks to keep facilities functional and clean.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background checks and physicals.

Position Summary: The Physical Plant-Facilities Technician works under the direct supervision of the Physical Plant Foreman and provides support to other maintenance personnel as needed. This position is responsible for general, routine, and preventative maintenance tasks. The technician plays a key role in maintaining the operational functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility or campus. Responsibilities include hands‑on support for a wide range of facility‑related services such as routine maintenance, repairs, logistics, and general support tasks. The technician helps ensure that building systems and work environments remain functional, safe, and compliant with applicable standards—in‑supporting staff productivity and operational continuity.
