Job summary

Doctors of Physical Therapy On-site is seeking a part-time physical or occupational therapist to partner with leading American manufacturers in state-of-the-art industrial settings. The role focuses on injury prevention, ergonomics and wellness, with onboarding and mentorship provided.

Schedule is 20 hours per week with a 6 AM start on Wednesdays and 7–9 PM two nights per week. No productivity targets; emphasis on keeping workers healthy and safe in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure as Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the United States.
• Minimal part-time availability with 20 hours/week.
• On-site role in industrial settings with ergonomics focus.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations for proper body mechanics and workstyles.
• Provide new employee injury prevention education.
• Perform ergonomic assessments.
• Walk the production space and interact with employees.
• Perform injury screens and provide first aid.
• Roll out pre-shift warm up exercise program.
• Partner with industrial client's management team.

This position will split between 2 of our clients. Focus is on injury prevention, ergonomics and wellness programming. DPT has helped keep thousands of workers safe from injury by providing innovative solutions in the field of environmental health and safety. We offer thorough onboarding, training, and mentorship.
