Job summary

Ascension Seton in the north Austin market (Georgetown/Temple & Round Rock) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to join outpatient clinics, providing evaluation and management of PM&R and pain management patients.

Rotate between Georgetown/Temple and Round Rock clinics; focus on non-operative care, multimodal pain management, access to ultrasound and fluoroscopy, with EMG/NCS optional; supervision of residents/fellows encouraged.

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed to practice in Texas prior to hire.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in PM&R.
• Experience in outpatient PM&R and pain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient evaluation and management of PM&R and pain patients in the north Austin market.
• Rotation between Georgetown/Temple and Round Rock clinics.
• Support non-operative care alongside surgical specialties as needed.
• Provide multimodal pain management and participate in education of residents/fellows.

About The Practice

• Outpatient responsibilities include clinic evaluation and management of PM&R and pain management patients in the north Austin market
• Rotation will be between Georgetown/Temple & Round Rock/Williamson MOB clinics
• Primarily non-operative management supporting surgical specialties (i.e. orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery) as well as Ascension providers as a whole
• Multi-modal pain management (i.e. medication management, including opioids if clinically indicated and interventional management)
• Access to in-office ultrasound and fluoroscopy
• Spasticity Management optional
• EMG/NCS optional
• Resident/Fellow clinical supervision/education encouraged
• Affiliated with the Georgetown Surgery Center where there may be potential for investment
• Thrombectomy-Capable, Primary Stroke Center+ (PSC+) through DNV

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
