Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physiatry (PM&R) physician with a strong interest in interventional spine care to join an employed practice in the Seton/Austin network.

The role emphasizes comprehensive, evidence-based spine care within a collaborative environment that includes orthopedic-spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and experienced clinic staff. Outpatient, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or call, fluoroscopy access, and teaching opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD/DO credentialed by the Texas Medical Board.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Experience in procedural spine care preferred.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration in spine care with orthopedic/spine surgeons and neurosurgeons.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-operative spine care within an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform/interimize interventional spine procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with orthopedic-spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, and clinic staff.
• Outpatient clinic Monday through Friday with no weekends and no call.

• The ideal candidate is a PM&R physician with a strong interest in interventional spine care who values collaboration, efficiency and patient-centered outcomes within an interdisciplinary practice
• Experience in procedural spine care is preferred

About The Practice

• Outpatient Monday through Friday clinic setting with no weekends and no call
• Primarily non-operative spine care supporting orthopedic and neurosurgical services
• Access to in-office fluoroscopy for interventional procedures
• Established clinical workflows with experienced support staff

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
