Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Physical Security/Industrial Security Specialist for our El Segundo, CA location. The role provides physical security, industrial security, and cybersecurity support for collateral, SCI, and SAP systems in alignment with ICD, DODM, and JAFAN guidance.

The position requires Top-Secret clearance, SCI eligibility, and willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph. In-office, five-day weeks with travel within AOR may be expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree - 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 6 years of total experience, with at least 4 in SCI/SAR environments.
• Ability to complete ICD-705 training (DSSA or NRO) within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of SAP-relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government security authorities in managing acquisition security programs’ industrial security requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DODM, ICD, or legacy DCID/JAFAN physical security and IA requirements and maintain accreditation documentation.
• Interface with HHQ for physical and technical security actions and procedures.
• Conduct preconstruction reviews and advise on compliance for facility construction, expansion, and modifications.
• Assist Information Assurance Managers with cybersecurity requirements.
• Author, review, and maintain facility Certification and Accreditation documentation.
• Assist with enforcing personnel security controls for visitors and un-cleared personnel entering the facility.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Physical Security/Industrial Security Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

This position provides physical security (PS), industrial security, and cybersecurity support for collateral, SCI, and SAP systems in accordance with ICD, DODM, legacy DCID/JAFAN, and other DoD and national guidance for facilities with internal networks and guest systems. You will also provide industrial security support to SAR acquisition programs in a five-day-a-week, in-office role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist Government security authorities in managing acquisition security programs’ industrial security requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DODM, ICD, or legacy DCID/JAFAN physical security and IA requirements and maintain accreditation documentation.
• Interface with HHQ for physical and technical security (TEMPEST/TSCM) actions and procedures.
• Conduct preconstruction reviews and make recommendations for compliance with guidance for facility construction, expansion, and modifications.
• Assist Information Assurance Managers with the implementation of cybersecurity requirements.
• Author, review, and maintain facility Certification and Accreditation documentation.
• Assist with the enforcement of personnel security controls for visitors and un-cleared personnel requiring entry to the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree - 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 6 years of total experience, including a minimum of 4 years of experience within an SCI or SAR environment.
• Ability to complete ICD-705 training (DSSA or NRO) within 6 months of the date of hire.
• 2 years of SAP-relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with security policy/manuals and appropriate ICDs, JAFANs, DOD Manuals, and other guiding policy documents.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and interact with DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.

Clearance Requirements:

• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Must be a US Citizen with eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
• Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), including both air and ground transportation.
• Person in this position may remain in a stationary position a percentage of the time using adjustable chairs and desks in closed-area offices.
• Must be able to occasionally move about inside and outside of the office to access files, cabinets, and safes.
