Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in physical or electronic systems such as intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, and related IT systems.
• Experience in engineering/design of security systems for construction projects.
• Experience with contract documents: drawings, subcontracts, addenda, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Knowledge of producing precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for aPhysical/Electronic Project Manager to join a design services company for mission critical systems. This is based in Tysons, VA.

Opportunity to get processed for a security clearance! Up to a TS/SCI

Essential Duties of the Physical/Electronic Project Manager:

• Lead security service projects from cradle to grave.
• Run day-to-day operations of a project.
• Identify change orders and ensuring effective resolution.
• Price, track and manage change orders.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses.
• Read and interpret blue prints and project specifications.
• Research and compile submittals; pricing change orders and prepare estimates for partially designed projects by finishing the design and preparing a complete project estimate

Qualifications of the Physical/Electronic Project Manager:

• 5+ years of experience in physical or electronic systems (intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems)
• Prior experience in the engineering/design of such systems
• Experience working on construction projects ranging from $100,000 to $10M.
• Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings on projects.

Compensation for the Physical/Electronic Project Manager:

• $100,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
