The Physical Education Teacher is a Gymnasium Teacher working in a small setting Transitional Classroom attending to Students with mental and Intellectual Disabilities while providing physical Education Instructions.
Having a Lifeguard Certification Is Preferred.
SALARY RATES:
SIGN-ON BONUS: $3,000 paid in two equal installments within a year.
Purpose: This position provides physical education instruction to students with disabilities, including assessment, daily instruction, and collaboration with educators and related service providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: Current Illinois Teaching Certificate, Bachelor's in Physical Education or related field, and Lifeguard Certification.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, perform CPR, and work in a noisy environment with exposure to infectious substances. Reasonable accommodations available.
