Overview

Provide academic, social, and emotional services for students who need additional support to succeed. Utilize SESI’s proven instructional models and curriculum. Conduct assessments, use data to develop instructional plans, and collaborate with school teams and families to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Teach, nurture confidence, and provide individualized attention.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and rigor.
• Apply behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation and crisis management techniques as needed.
• Track student progress and maintain required documentation.
• Participate in school functions, meetings, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid PEL preferred.
• Commitment to learning and feedback.
• Flexibility in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range

USD $50,000 - $55,000 per year.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move swiftly, bend, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
• Skill in fine motor tasks.
• Operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
• Remain calm during physically and emotionally demanding situations.
