Role Description

The Physical and Occupational Therapist role at Walker’s Tiny Talkers is an on-site position based in Bentonville, AR. In this role, the therapist evaluates pediatric clients, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides direct therapy to address motor, sensory, functional, and developmental needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting progress, collaborating with families and caregivers, and coordinating care with other professionals to support each child’s goals. The therapist will also provide caregiver training, recommend home programs and adaptive strategies, and participate in team meetings to review treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Occupational Therapy, including assessment and intervention for pediatric clients.
• Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles relevant to pediatric physical and occupational therapy.
• Strong Communication skills for working with children, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Experience or training in Pediatrics, particularly in developmental and neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Appropriate professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in Arkansas.
