Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric physical therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children and for learning new skills. We have a skilled team of physical therapists who love to mentor and share their knowledge. Experience in pediatric therapy and a background in evaluating and treating children who have a wide range of developmental delays, disabilities, and disorders is preferred, but not required. We welcome new graduates to apply and take advantage of our mentorship program!

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate developmental delays, injuries, and conditions to determine each patient’s needs and create individualized treatment plans
  • Work with caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each child’s unique goals.
  • Use a variety of physical therapy techniques to improve children’s motor function, strength, coordination, and flexibility.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to children and their families.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with speech and occupational therapists on our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in physical therapy
  • Current Arkansas PT license or eligibility for license as an Physical Therapist
  • Proficiency in administering standardized assessments and outcome measures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and best practices for working with pediatric patients
  • Drive to grow, learn, and mentor.
