Iconic Care is seeking a full-time physiatrist to deliver autonomous care at contracted skilled nursing facilities, rounding 1–3 locations and treating 25+ patients daily to improve rehabilitation outcomes.

Relocation to Redding, CA is provided, with a flexible 5‑day workweek, no nights or weekends, and production-based compensation up to $260,000 annually plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license.
• DEA licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Nursing home and/or physiatry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfort with peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips).
• Autonomous practice with collaboration when needed.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with EHR charting.

Responsibilities

• Round at 1–3 SNFs or similar facilities, 1–3 days per week per location.
• See 25+ patients per day focusing on pain-related therapy participation.
• Provide joint injections, Botox, dry needling, and medication management as needed.
• Serve as on-site physician with autonomy and clinical team support as needed.
• Coordinate care and refer to other specialties as required.

We’re Hiring:

We are seeking a passionate, motivated provider to join us full‑time and independently offer care and consultations at our contracted facilities.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

As a physiatrist, you will round at 1–3 Skilled Nursing Facilities or similar rehabilitation centers, 1–3 days per week at each location. Your primary focus will be delivering specialized physiatry care to 25+ patients per day who are experiencing difficulty participating in therapy due to pain or functional limitations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Performing focused assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery.
• Providing targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management based on patient‑specific needs.
• Serving as the sole physiatrist on‑site, operating with a high level of autonomy while supported by a collaborative clinical team for consultation as needed.
• Coordinating care and referring to other specialties or services for issues beyond the scope of physiatry.

This role is best suited for a self‑motivated and confident clinician who thrives in independent practice environments and is passionate about improving rehabilitation outcomes.
