Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• State of Michigan Medical License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Completion of Brain Injury Fellowship.

Aufgaben

• Provides professional medical services in physiatry to patients of Mary Free Bed Kalamazoo in inpatient, outpatient, and consult settings.
• Timely consultations at referring hospitals and facilities.
• Maintains medical records in a timely fashion and cooperates with billing, peer review and compliance programs.
• Provides oversight and education for students, residents, and mid-level providers.
• Maintains staff privileges at MFB, and mutually agreed upon other hospitals, including duties to maintain those privileges.
• Identifies and promotes opportunities for improvement of care and actively participates in MFB quality initiatives.
• Promotes the financial viability of the organization.
• Promotes the development and dissemination of new knowledge, preferably in peer reviewed journals.
