Job summary

medrina is seeking a Physiatrist in Pittsburgh, PA to provide rehab and pain consults in SNFs. The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in Physiatry with an active PA license and strong teamwork skills.

Physiatry Physician Job in Pennsylvania

Title: Physiatrist. Location: Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a board‑certified or board‑eligible physiatrist with experience in managing patients with a wide range of physical disabilities and chronic conditions. The physiatrist will be responsible for providing rehab and pain consults in SNFs, including trigger points and joint injections.


Responsibilities


  • Diagnose and treat patients with physical disabilities and chronic conditions

  • Develop and implement treatment plans

  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care

  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development


Requirements


  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Physiatry

  • Valid medical license in the city, state

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Commitment to patient‑centered care

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or without US residency and current US work visa

Physical Requirements


  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards

  • Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements

  • Must comply with facility vaccination requirements
