Job description

This interventional pain practice offers partnership potential or eventual ownership. A highly experienced interventional pain physiatrist is seeking to expand the team by adding another physiatrist, presenting significant growth opportunities. This is the region's premier pain management practice, known for its exceptional team.

Role Overview

1. The physician's primary focus is performing procedures, including Fluoro and Ultrasound guided interventions, spinal cord stimulator trials, and more.
2. A completed fellowship in interventional pain management is preferred, but residents interested in MSK/interventional pain can receive necessary training if they lack fellowship experience.
3. The practice efficiently manages patient flow, with all new patients seen in one day, supported by a skilled NP who collaborates on assessments and care plans.
4. The physiatrist performs about 25 procedures daily, with room for expansion using two procedure rooms.
5. The current schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, four days a week, with the NP working five days. The candidate can choose a 4- or 5-day schedule.
6. The NP, experienced and long-standing in the practice, handles follow-ups and medication management, typically at the lowest doses.

Additional Details

• Documentation is streamlined through a refined EMR system, enabling completion by day's end.
• Referrals come from neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, family physicians, chiropractors, and rheumatologists. Much of the patient base is built on word of mouth due to the physician's longstanding community reputation.
• The practice has growth potential to become 2-3 times larger.
