Physiatrist (PM&R) opportunity in Reading, PA (Inpatient)

Wonderful opportunity to work collaboratively with primary care physicians, advanced practice clinicians, physical and occupational therapists to enhance each patient's stay by setting realistic goals to help patients return to their prior level of function and regain their quality of life. The role of the physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist is crucial in the growth and quality of patient care. This facility is a 60-bed inpatient rehab center specializing in neurological, stroke, orthopedic, and spinal cord rehabilitation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient rounding
• Conduct consultation visits for complex rehab patients, mentor support staff on PM&R services, and ensure high standards of care
• Diagnose patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with APCs to deliver high-quality rehabilitation care
• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and facility partners
