Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic board-certified or board-eligible physicians to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to facilitate care for individuals who have sustained catastrophic work-related injuries. Stay close to home while positively impacting the medical trajectory of injured workers, guiding them on their road to rehabilitation and recovery.

Details:

1. Scope of injuries: Catastrophic work-related injuries including musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, burn injuries, amputations, and polytrauma.
2. Acuity levels: Acute, subacute, and non-acute cases.
3. Create, review, and oversee the implementation of care coordination plans for injured workers, consistent with evidence-based practices.
4. Present care plans to clients and clinical staff.
5. Communicate with providers regarding injured workers, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
6. Work directly with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination.
7. This is a consultant position with competitive compensation.
8. Work remotely with flexible hours and hourly pay.
