Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic board-certified / board-eligible physicians to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to facilitate care for persons who have sustained catastrophic work-related injuries. Details:

1. Scope of injuries: Catastrophic work-related injuries including musculoskeletal injury, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, burn injury, amputation, polytrauma.
2. Acuity: Acute, subacute, non-acute.
3. Create, review, and oversee implementation of care coordination plans for injured worker patients consistent with evidence-based practice.
4. Present care plans to clients and clinical staff.
5. Communicate with providers regarding injured worker patients, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
6. Work directly with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination.
7. This is a consultant position with competitive compensation.
8. Work remotely with flexible hours.
9. Compensation is hourly pay.
