PM&R locum coverage! The provider will be primary on these patients, but can consult the hospital medicine team to manage medical needs if they prefer.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Setting: Acute Rehab unit located within an acute care hospital
FTE: 1
Duties: daily rounding for inpatient rehab unit- 13 beds and night/weekend call. Providers would not be in the clinic- they would only do inpatient rounds on our rehab unit- which is a 13 bed unit. They would then be done for the day on-site. Typically, calls would only involve questions via telephone- it would be very rare that there would be a need to return to the facility after hours.

Timeframe: 60-90 days depending on completion of credentialing forms

1-2 admits and discharges per day
Breakdown of population: varies-facility will take most patients who qualify for inpatient rehab except high spinal cord injuries as facility does not take patients on vents.
