Job description

We are looking for a General OP Physiatrist who is eager to work with a broad patient population, providing a variety of services in a great work/life balance environment. I specialize in placing PM&R doctors and founded the first PM&R Only Search firm in the country.

Our successful Physiatrist candidate will utilize musculoskeletal medicine, peripheral injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, pain management, spasticity treatment, electrodiagnostics, concussion management, workers' compensation, toxin injections, and cancer rehabilitation. The department features an active running program and gait lab, should your interests align. This is one of the original and prestigious full PMR departments in the state, equipped with extensive resources for complex patient care. You will be supported by a team of therapists, APPs, and caseworkers, enabling meaningful patient treatment without being overburdened. Note: this is not an interventional spine position.

Position details include:

• A clinical role within an academically oriented department
• A robust PM&R residency program with potential faculty appointment
• A fully CARF-accredited inpatient brain injury, outpatient brain injury, general rehab, amputee rehab, and stroke programs
• Current physiatrists are board-certified in PMR, with subspecialties including BI, SCI, Pain, EMG, and IME
• A research division led by an NIH-trained director of clinical research
