Physical Med and Rehab opportunity in Fargo, ND

Regional service area: 460,000 people

Position Details:

1. Full-time, permanent
2. Comprehensive, general PM&R practice with inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation
3. Work collaboratively with Neurosurgery, Occupational Medicine, Interventional Pain management for patients with acute and chronic spine injuries, as well as with Neurosurgery, Trauma Surgery, Hospitalists, Neurology for hospitalized patients with trauma or neurologic impairment
4. Actively involved in maintaining a comprehensive spine program within the health system
5. Practice may include EMGs
6. Outpatient therapy provided by therapists who sub-specialize in neuro, pediatric, and musculoskeletal pain
7. Access to a large fitness center; excellent working relationships with a full continuum of neuromusculoskeletal specialists including Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma/Critical Care, Orthopedic Surgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, Interventional Pain, and Internal Medicine
8. Regional outreach
9. Participation in regular back & neck management conferences: peer-to-peer case review
10. Assessment and management of patients with long-term issues; development of care plans in consultation with other specialists
11. Call 1:6 to 1:7
12. Must be BC/BE in PM&R
