Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bakersfield is a freestanding 86-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. We are seeking a PM&R inpatient physiatrist. Healthy caseload of 15-20 patients and potential Program Directorship role for a physician desiring a leadership track. At Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bakersfield, we are committed to helping patients get back to what matters most. We are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, hip fracture and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.

PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS

We are seeking a full time inpatient PM&R physician to build a practice to serve the Bakersfield community. As an independent private practice physician, you will enjoy daily flexibility and a self-directed workflow. There are opportunities for consulting and no noncompete for other clinical work. For physicians desiring a leadership track, there is an optional Program Directorship with a stipend paid monthly.
